UCLA CKI & METRO DIVISION ROCKED THE HOUSE AT FALL TRAINING CONFERENCE!

Thank you to all those who were able to come out and cheer like crazy! FTC’11 was EPIK this year for all sorts of reasons, including receiving Honorable Mention for our Club Video, as well as Third Place for our Club T-Shirt! We have quite a number of people and thank, so let’s recognize them…

  • Thank you to Karen Chen and her awesome committee for putting on FTC and, well, for making it *~SNOW~*! It was a beautiful snowy wonderland!
  • Thank you our Metro Lieutenant Governor JonJon Junpradub for leading our awesome division this past weekend. All your effort and hard work is paying off!!
  • Thank you to our Spirit & Sunshine Chair Theresa Phan (and her helpers!) for leading us through all the cheers and keeping our energy pumping even though we were cold… Our spirit gear is SO LEGIT, too!
  • Thank you Technology Chair Rich Ung for making the awesome video & Thank you to our Historian Diane Santos for making an awesome shirt! You guys worked so hard, and look where it’s gotten you!

UCLA CKI and Metro Division owned FTC’11 this weekend. As we all go into the post-FTC symdrome, let’s look forward to the next huge event of our CKI term… District Convention!

What is UCLA Circle K?

Oh hello there! Fancy to see that you’ve come across this Tumblr, dedicated to UCLA’s chapter of Circle K International. I’m sure you’re interested in what we’re all about, yes? Here’s the basic elevator pitch about us.

“UCLA Circle K is a collegiate service based organization dedicated towards serving the community, encouraging member leadership, and fostering amazing friendships. Our club offers multiple service opportunities, with a service project practically every day as well as multiple opportunities to get to know new people and bond with people you already know!”

Sounds pretty awesome, right? By now, you may be wondering, “What makes you different from all the other clubs out there at UCLA?”

Well, remember how I said we’re the UCLA chapter? You know what that means - There are other chapters across the state, too. We’ll go more into this later, but UCLA’s chapter is a part of a division, a part of a district. With this, we are able to network across other schools within the Los Angeles area, as well as many, many other chapters across California, Nevada, and Hawaii. It’s quite the network!

Additionally, we’re proud to say that we’ve received numerous awards and accolades for the service, leadership, and fellowship work that we’ve done over the many years our chapter has been established. We work hard to keep our reputation going!

Stay tuned for more updates! This is just the beginning of our club’s Tumblr adventure. :) Feel free to submit any questions and/or comments to our ASK box, and we’ll get right back to you!
